Hey Guys :D
It's been a while since I last updated on here, 2 months 2 weeks and 4 days to be exact, but who's counting? haha
I pretty much lost all inspiration to write when school picked back up again and I had to take a news writing class. Writing for that class basically took all my will to write and so my blog lost its priority. But not to worry, I am now done with that class and school completely (well for a while until I go back to get my bachelors).
Since school is now over and summer is right around the corner, I thought I'd come up with a bucket list of things I want to do this summer. These are all simple things but they're enough to keep me productive, so that I don't end up wasting my summer being lazy all the time.
Here are some of the things I want to do:
1. Read more books
As soon as school started I put my books down and my new passion for reading had died down. I couldn't find the time between work and school to pick up a book and read for leisure. So I want to get back into reading! :D However I don't have any books in mind at the moment, but I shall do some research. Let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations for books that I should read. :)
I've said this one plenty of time before and have failed to do so numerous times. But I really want to make a habit out of this one. I somehow can always start a journal but can never finish it, so I end up with thousands of notebooks that are only half filled because I see a new cute journal and I want to buy it even though I still have a perfectly good one at home.
3. Make more videos
As with my blog, it has been quite a challenge coming up with video ideas. Between school and work all of my energy is taken up by the time I get home. And though that shouldn't be a problem, it can get a bit too much for someone who is really introverted. Being in social situations where I'm forced to speak to others and constantly try not to mess up pretty much drains me by the end of it. So now that I'll have more free time, I'll be able to channel my creative juices and come up with more fun video ideas and just really get more into the youtube world of creating content :D
I personally don't think I would be a good vlogger simply because I'm not that interesting or have much to do. But I do want to vlog more this summer, even if the videos don't get uploaded. I just want to record to have memories for when I'm older and to look back on and see what I was like at the age of 19.
5. Eat Breakfast Every Day
I know for a fact that a lot of us like to skip breakfast because we don't think it's necessary. But as a matter of fact, breakfast is very important! They are kidding when they say "breakfast is the most important meal of the day". Without breakfast, your body doesn't have the energy that it needs to get you going through the day. It's also really hard on your body and though you may not see how it affects you know, it will have an effect someday. I'm guilty of doing so and I want to make a change. So later today I am going to go out and buy some fruit, cereal, and other meals to prepare.
6. Go to the gym more often
I got a gym membership at the beginning of the year and I have gone many times but I'm not consistent with it. So this summer I want to make an effort to go at least 3 times a week and slowly work it up to 4 days a week to 5 days a week and so on. This is not necessarily to just lose weight but to be healthier and feel healthier. I just love the feeling of waking up early and going to get a workout. You feel so good afterwards and I think that's something my body would enjoy more of.
